Parklife: Sunday 26 May 12-7pm @Wyndham Park

WE'RE BACK - with our first Parklife of 2013 on the end of May Bank Holiday Weekend - they'll be plenty of details to follow - but for the moment we just wanted to get the date out there and make sure every puts it in their diary and starts talking about it.
After 10 years of filling the parks of Salisbury with House/Disco/Funk/Jazz/Ambient tunes - I don't expect you need much reminding of what we do and why we do it
Expect all the usual stalls + some select new additions - if anyone wants to get involved then please contact us on

24 Hours in Salisbury Event

Join NewRED Studios and Salisbury Arts Centre to help create a unique multimedia portrait of the city as the day and night unfold.

Answering the big question, "What Makes Salisbury?", you are invited to contribute to a creative examination of the city's life: documenting the biggest landmarks and the smallest nooks and crannies; the everyday and the extraordinary; fleeting exchanges in streets, parks and buildings; shopping, playing, working and walking.

How to take part:
  • Pick up the guidelines in advance of the day from Salisbury Arts Centre's Box Office, email info@salisburyarts.co.uk
  • Create your contributions between 5.21am on Saturday 11 May and 5.20am on Sunday 12 May.  Please remember we are looking for submissions that cover the entire 24-hour period.
  • Drop off your completed work at Salisbury Arts Centre (Bedwin Street) or NewRED Studios (Fisherton Street) before the end of the 24-hour period to be included in the exhibition and film. Both venues will be open during the entire 24-hour period.
  • Sign a release form to give us permission to include your submission (parent or guardian to sign for under 18s) and clearly label your work including the time of day it was made. Click here to download a submission form.
  • Digital submissions can also be uploaded to Dropbox: email karen@salisburyarts.co.uk during the 24-hour period to be invited to join the event's Dropbox folder.
  • Please clearly label digital files with the day and time that it records. For your work to be included in the project please also remember to download and complete the digital release form found in the Dropbox folder and upload it back to there with your own name as its filename.
  • Please follow the safety advice within the guidelines, especially when working at night.

For any questions during the daytime of the event contact Salisbury Arts Centre on 01722 321744 or boxoffice@salisburyarts.co.uk. If you need to get in contact with staff overnight contact the Salisbury Arts Centre Duty Manager on 07873 417252
